ABC #1
A Blueberry Cayenne sauce. Thick, but smooth with a sutble sweetness and charred cayennes bringing a creeping heat. With the consistency and color, I feel like this is a spicy bbq sauce, would probably be great on ribs or chicken.
This is my first attempt at a real fruit sauce, and the blueberries are from a local farmer's market - jersey fresh baby!
i do have one regret. i should've peeled the pepper skins after charring. if you taste some chewy bits, its because of that. sorry! future batches will be peeled.
